Preschool Gymnastics

ML Tots

For boys and girls ages 3 & 4 years old. $270/10 week session. Child must be 3 on the first day of class. During this 1 hour class, children learn how to run, jump, tumble, balance and swing by utilizing all four of the competitive events and trampoline. Basic beginner gymnastics skills include handstands,forward/backward rolls, cartwheels, jumps, pull ups and more! Children are also able to interact with their peers, develop listening skills, and learn how to take turns through a variety of activities! In addition, class instructors utilize props to advance your child's ability to identify colors, numbers, letters and shapes. Student Ratio: 1:6 3 year olds should have a basic understanding of how to follow directions and must be able to stay within their group. This is not a parent/child class. Leotards can be very difficult for children 3 and 4 years old to maneuver in the bathroom. 1 parent/guardian is required to stay and accompany their ML TOT (3 or 4 year old) to the bathroom when needed. If you have a young or shy three year old, we recommend signing up for a morning class when the gym is mostly empty and quiet. Child must be 3 on the first day of class. 4 year olds may enroll in the ML KIDS class when they are turning 5 years old by/or within the first 4 weeks of the session they are enrolling for. You must enroll your child in every session individually. Families enrolled in the session immediately prior, have 1 week to enroll during our priority enrollment before it is opened to the rest of the membership and the public. Children must be placed on their respective parents account. Cousins & friends may not share accounts.

ML Kids

For boys and girls 5 years old. $270/10 week session. Ages 3-5

Girls Recreational Gymnastics

Girls Beginner

 

This is our entry-level gymnastics class for girls six and older. $270/10 week session. Girls will learn the basic fundamentals on all four of the competitive events. Basic skills include handstands, cartwheels, forward/backward rolls, chin- up pullovers, casts, bridge, jumps, how to balance on the beam and more. Student Ratio: 1:8 Students may enroll for Girls Beginner when they are turning 6 years old by/or within the first 4 weeks of the session. You must enroll your child in every session individually. Families enrolled in the session immediately prior, have 1 week to enroll during our priority enrollment before it is opened to the rest of the membership and the public. Children must be placed on their respective parents account. Cousins & friends may not share accounts.

Girls Intermediate

 

This is the next step to learning new skills. $270/10 week session. Skill progressions include handstand tree fall (vault), back hip circles, glides, (bars), jumps, handstand (beam), round off, back bend, bridge kick overs, handstand forward roll, back handspring drills (floor) and more! Student Ratio: 1:8 ​ Prerequisite - Your child must first be enrolled in a Beginner class and/or have prior gymnastics experience, and be assessed and recommended by an MLG instructor. You must enroll your child in every session individually. Families enrolled in the session immediately prior, have 1 week to enroll during our priority enrollment before it is opened to the rest of the membership and the public. Children must be placed on their respective parents account. Cousins & friends may not share accounts.

Girls Advanced

 

This is our most advanced recreational class! $270/10 week session. Students are able to learn and practice skills such as standing back handsprings, round off back handsprings, tucks, front handsprings, aerials (floor), handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, twisting dismounts (beam), front hip circles, squat ons, glide kips (bars) and more! Student Ratio: 1:8 ​ Prerequisite - Your child must first be enrolled in an Intermediate class and/or have prior gymnastics experience, and be assessed and recommended by an MLG instructor. You must enroll your child in every session individually. Families enrolled in the session immediately prior, have 1 week to enroll during our priority enrollment before it is opened to the rest of the membership and the public. Children must be placed on their respective parents account. Cousins & friends may not share accounts.

Age 6 - 14

Program Policies

MEMBERSHIP FEES

$25/student or $40/family with more than one sibling. 

Non - refundable/annually. 

SESSION FEE 

$270 per 10 week session (1 class a week)

DISCOUNTS

We offer a 10% discount off the second class enrollment fee for families with more than one child in our program. Children must be placed on their respective parents account. Cousins & friends may not share accounts. Any child participating in more than one class per week also receives 10% off their second class enrollment fee. 

CLASS SESSION ENROLLMENT

We host five sessions per year: Fall, Winter 1, Winter 2, Spring and Summer. All sessions are 10 weeks long. You must enroll your child for each 10 week session individually. Children must be placed on their respective parents account. Cousins & friends may not share accounts.

 

Families enrolled in the session immediately prior, have 1 week of priority enrollment before the live schedule will be open to the rest of the membership and the public. New and existing students may enroll at any point during our 10 week session. When enrolling after a session has begun, the price of the session will be prorated. If a student is enrolled before the session begins and does not attend for any reason from the beginning, there will be no prorate

 

PRIORITY ENROLLMENT PROGRAM 

Families enrolled in the session immediately prior, have 1 week to enroll during our priority enrollment before it is opened to the rest of the membership and the public. Siblings of current active session families will also qualify for priority enrollment. 

 

If you prefer a specific class time and day, we highly encourage you to register as soon as you receive this email. Please remember that families are free to register for any class, day and time that is available. First come, first serve.


Girls recreational students must continue to register for their current class level until they have received an email recommendation to move up.

ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION 

Please review your online account, prior to the first day of class, camp or clinic to confirm class time and day that your child is actively enrolled in for each session. If you have any questions about enrollment status, please contact the office.

 

ACTIVE ENROLLMENT

  • You will have received an ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION EMAIL

  • Enrollment Status will say ACTIVE & PAYMENT HAS BEEN CHARGED

 

 REQUEST ENROLLMENT

  • If enrollment status says “ACTIVE REQUEST” you have NOT been approved for the class and should contact the office with any questions.

 

WAITLIST ENROLLMENT

  • If enrollment status says “WAIT” you are currently on our waitlist and will be contacted if and when a spot becomes available.

  • There is no charge to be on our waitlists. You will be emailed if or when a spot becomes available. You will have 24 hours to respond to the email before the office must move on to the next student in line.

Please pay close attention to session dates. If your child, for any reason, attends a class that they are not enrolled in, a single class charge will be placed in your account. Payment will be required.

 

CLASS SESSION REFUNDS

There will be no refunds for any reason, medical or other, after the first week of each session. Class session refunds must be requested, in writing via email, by Sunday evening at 11:59 pm at the end of Week 1. No refunds will be issued after that deadline, regardless of circumstance (medical, absence or otherwise). 

 

If a refund request is received prior to the first day of the session, you will receive a full refund for the session. If a refund is requested after the first class but within the refund window, you will receive a partial refund for the remaining 9 weeks of the session. 

CAMP/CLINIC REFUND 

There will be no refunds, for any reason, medical or other, within 1 week (7 days) of a camp or clinic unless we are able to fill the spot. All refunds must be requested in writing, via email.

 

MAKE-UP POLICY

  • Holiday Closing: If your regularly scheduled class falls on a holiday closing, please fill out the make-up request form, which will be sent to you via email. Holiday make-ups may be scheduled in another scheduled class time. No credits or refunds. Due to limited space, if a scheduled holiday make-up is not attended for any reason, medical or other, the make-up will be forfeited for the rest of the session. All make-ups must take place within the current session that the class was missed.

 

  • Inclement Weather: Circumstances involving inclement weather may result in a gym closure. A notification email will be sent to all members, and an announcement will be posted on all of our social media accounts as well as our  website’s homepage. If your regularly scheduled class falls on an inclement weather closing, please fill out the make-up request form, which will be sent to you via email. No credits or refunds. Inclement weather make-ups will be scheduled in another scheduled class time. Due to limited space, if a scheduled inclement weather make-up is not attended for any reason, medical or other, the make-up will be forfeited for the rest of the session. All make-ups must take place within the current session that the class was missed.

 

  • Regular Missed Class: Regular Missed Class: Your class session fee pays to reserve your child’s spot in their specific class each week. Each class type has a safe and designated student to teacher ratio. We do not offer regular class make-ups. If your child misses one or more scheduled classes throughout the session for any reason, medical or otherwise, they will just attend their regular class the following week. 

 

CLASS TRANSFER REQUEST

If you would like to switch class times/day, pending an open spot, for the remainder of the session, you must submit a transfer request via email. All students are limited to 1 switch per session and will remain in that class for the remainder of the session. Transfer requests will not be approved within the last two weeks of the session. 

 

CLASS ATTIRE

  • Do’s: Leotards, unitards, form fitting shirt, leggings and/or shorts. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face. Glasses should be securely fastened to the head (sport band). Children must be bare feet while inside the gym. 

 

  • Don'ts: For safety issues, please, no socks or dance tights that cover your child’s feet. No chewing gum or jewelry. Children may not go upside down with a hooded shirt or sweatshirt. Two-piece outfits with skin showing is not permitted due to the nature of spotting. Children should not wear bows, hats or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. Children may not bring cameras, phones, stuffed animals, dolls or any other prop into class with them.

PARENT VIEWING

We are happy to provide large and spacious viewing windows that allow parents to see their child at all times while inside the gym.​ Students and siblings are not permitted to sit, kneel or stand on the viewing window ledge. Under no circumstance should a parent open the door and yell to their child and/or enter the actual training space. If you need to pick your child up early, please see the front office staff. 

 

ARRIVAL AND PICKUP

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to scheduled class time. Please pick up your child on time. Instruct your child to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. For children 3 and 4 years old: 1 parent/guardian is required to remain inside the lobby for the duration of class.

 

BATHROOM BREAKS (For students ages 3-4 years old)

Leotards can be very difficult for children 3 and 4 years old to maneuver in the bathroom. 1 parent/guardian is required to stay and accompany their ML TOT (3 or 4 year old) to the bathroom when needed. An instructor will walk your child to you when they need to use the bathroom. 

LOBBY ETIQUETTE

Adults who choose to wait in our lobby with younger children must contain control and supervision of their child/children. No running around, banging on windows, flipping, ball playing or climbing is acceptable. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted inside or outside our facility (including parking lot). 

CLASS LEVEL MOVEMENT

Our preschool program is determined by age. 3 and 4 year olds must enroll in our ML TOTS class. 4 year olds may enroll in the ML KIDS class when they are turning 5 years old by/or within the first 4 weeks of the session they are enrolling for. This rule also applies for 5 year old students turning 6. Students may enroll for Girls Beginner when they are turning 6 years old by/or within the first 4 weeks of the session.

Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes are determined by ability and skill level. Assessments are made on an ongoing basis. When it is determined by the instructor that a child is ready to move to the next class level, you will receive an email with a recommendation before the end of the session. Please note that every child is different and will progress differently. Your child's enrollment will not be accepted if you try to enroll them in a higher class level than assessed. COMMUNICATION 

We ask that all communication be professional and travel through the office. Our program is most successful and efficient when our ‘teachers teach’ and our ‘managers manage.’ Please email any and all questions you may have regarding our program to us at office@mainlinegymnastics.com. Here, your questions will certainly be passed along to the appropriate recipient and answered within a reasonable timeframe. 

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Negative and/or dishonorable content that does not support the mission of Main Line Gymnastics, it’s owners and staff involving, regarding or aimed towards Main Line Gymnastics in any way posted on any form of social media, blog, review or website such as but not limited to falsified information, inappropriate photos and videos, bullying, racial, ethnic, sexual, religious, and physical disability slurs will not be tolerated and will be subject to membership termination.

 

Instructors, while employed at Main Line Gymnastics, and active members are not permitted to socialize on any form of social media while affiliated with the program. Instructors, while employed at Main Line Gymnastics, are not permitted to accept employment including but not limited to babysitting, driving, nannying jobs, etc. by active members of our program. 

LOST AND FOUND

Personal items should be left in the lobby cubbies. The lost and found is located in the lobby and is emptied at the end of every 10 week session. Main Line Gymnastics is not responsible for any items that may be lost or stolen.

All sales are final. Pro-shop located in the Main Line Gymnastics lobby.

Main Line Gymnastics reserves the right to cancel any class that does not receive at least two registrations prior to the first week of the session. If this is to occur, you will be notified via email or phone at least one week ahead of time and we will happily fit you into another class time.

  • How do you choose students to be on the competitive team?
    Students (ages 3 - 7) who show advanced strength, flexibility, work ethic and possess an over all natural drive along with ability for the sport are invited to train on our developmental or pre-team in hopes of acquiring the skills necessary to be invited to the competitive team.
  • Do I have to stay while my child is in class?
    For children 3 and 4 years old: 1 parent/guardian is required to remain inside the lobby for the duration of class. You do not need to stay for children 5 years and older. Please make sure you have a current phone number and email on file.
  • I would like to withdraw from the session. Can I have a refund?
    There will be no refunds for any reason, medical or other, after the first week of each session. Class session refunds must be requested, in writing via email, by Sunday evening at 11:59 pm at the end of Week 1. No refunds will be issued after that deadline regardless of circumstance (medical, absence or otherwise).   • Can I wait list for a specific class while being actively registered in another?
    Yes, you may wait list, free of charge.
  • Do you allow drop-in classes?
    No, we do not allow drop-ins for structured classes. (Only Parent Tot Open Play).
  • Do you host an end of the year show?
    No, however, parents are welcome to view their child's progress weekly through our lobby windows.
  • What are the chances of getting into a class if I am on a wait list?
    There is no way for us to predict the chance, however it does happen. If an additional class is added, a child drops out, switches days or is moved up you will be contacted.
  • How do I change the session on the live schedule?
    Go to the top and click on the session box. Click on the session you want to see and hit submit (to the right). The schedule will change.
  • My child left their water bottle and/or clothing at the gym. Do you have a lost and found?
    Yes, the lost and found is located in the lobby. It is emptied every 10 weeks, on the last day of the session.
  • Will my child automatically be enrolled in the next session for the same day and time?

  • My child is 2.5 years old. Can I sign them up?
    No, our structured classes begin at the age of 3. Each child must be 3 years old on the first day of their class.
