Junior Class Instructor

Applicants who are 14 - 15 years old who may have little to no working experience but are willing to assist an MLG class teacher while observing, learning and helping all necessary duties of the gym with the goal of someday becoming an official MLG Class Instructor. Applicants may have the following: Little to absolutely no work experience. 1-2 years babysitting or working with children. Some gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, acro or dance experience. A passion for helping and working with children of all ages and abilities! Must have: Consistent transportation to work (weekly). Job Functions: Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift to help set up class equipment and props. Walking younger students to and from bathroom/water breaks. Walking younger students to and from their parents if arriving late or leaving early. Entertaining and or monitoring younger students while waiting in line. Providing the instructor with an additional spotted station. Providing special attention to any student who may need it at any given time. Assist with day camps, skill clinics and Summer camps.

Preschool & Recreational Class Instructor

Applicants who are 16+ who have a passion for gymnastics and working with children as well as a reliable and professional work ethic. Position Requirements: Extremely reliable, energetic, motivational and passionate about teaching gymnastics. Ability to work mornings and/or evenings and/or Saturdays. Some experience with children. Background in a sport related field (fitness, tumbling, acro, gymnastics, cheer, dance) Knowledge, ability and/or experience spotting beginner - advanced recreational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues. Possess strong leadership and time management skills. Job Functions: Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift to plan and set up for class. Maintain a positive and professional attitude. Provide children with a safe, fun and creative class each week by utilizing all four events as well as trampoline. Create custom classes by adhering to skill curriculums provided. Evaluate students ability to ensure proper progression through the program. Work additional day camps, skill clinics and Summer camps. Possible Hours: 2-35+ hours per week available. Pay: Hourly. Based on prior work experience, reliability, performance and availability. In addition we offer: Paid training, background checks and certifications. Base pay evaluations and raises. Education and upward mobility within the progam. All individuals applying for employment will be subject to criminal background checks, PA clearances and will undergo reference and past employment checks.
